task 9: my favorite subject(s)

Hello!!! well the last week were really hard, and that makes me remember that in all my subjects I have to do a lot of things, like essays, readings, theorycal research, etc. Although I have many work to do, I like the mayority of my subjects. I'm not sure which of them is my favorite, actually I don't have any favorite subject.
(I have to write more words so... here I go)

The last year were given subjects releated with archaeology which were very interesting. In the first semester one of them was Archaeology I. The theacher in charge of it was Isabel Cartagena, she is an archaeologist graduated in University of Chile, and she teached us some theorical and practice aspect of her discipline, like archaology's hystory, technicles, methods. Furthermore she presented us some archaological research.
There was another subject very important for us: Prehistory. It was given in the first semester too and it had two teachers in charge (their surnames) Benavente, Cristino, and two assistant (their names) Boris and Jaie. I don't know why I just remember the surnames for theachers and the names for assistants...Very curious... Anyway, the contents of this subject were ( in a general way) human evolution, prehistoric popuilations, domestication process, firts states, etc. In the second semester was given the second part of this subject, and in that opportunity we reviewed the precolumbian population as Maya, Aztecas, Incas, and the populations before them. In that course the teacher in charge was Nuriluz Hermosilla (I remember her name... unbelievable)

I liked those two (or three) subjects because I learned a lot about some topics that I didn't know and given to me a base to think in possible future research. It was very important to me to know about our origin, as species and as american population, since in high school I studed some of this themes but not in depth.

There were other subjects releated to different approach in Social Anthropology, they were really interesting too, but is much information to resume here.

And finally in relation to Physycal Antropology I had two subjects very important: Biology and Evolution which were the most interesting of all, the only problem was that I didn't like so much the teacher so I don't want to talk about it. The content was (and it still be) very interesting for me, because I didn't study it in high school since I thought that it would be very dificult for me and I couldn't learn something... Now I know that I was wrong.

As a final coment I want to say that I would love to have subjects with mathematical content. In this semester I have Statistics but it isn't enough for me.

Good bye!!
